Of Her, My Heart Sings ........Quatrains

How pale the ocean in her eye
that swallowed my desire
where drowning heart pounds in reply
translated into fire.

Her name, spiced pride upon my tongue
sweet shiver at her kiss
from crystal stream my siren sprung
through azure moonlight's hiss.

But for the charms that glaze my view
tis not for this I swoon,
yet for her essence deep and true
the way found hearts attune.

My queen she fills my vacant grail
completes my arcing wreath
and bolsters me with lover's sail
to her, my soul bequeath.
