Seasonal Blues

Don't want to feel
don't want this quell
to summer,
when it does end
Hel begins ascent.

Don't want to feel
don't need new spells
to bloom,
a rose perfumes
nature made magic.

Don't want to feel
don't want this bell
to go off,
if it does chime
there will be no rhymes

Don't want to feel
don't want this shell
to harden,
keep it softly
sheltering from winds.

Don't want to feel
don't need stress dealt
to Autumn,
falling leaves drown;
they cloak me as shields.

A Magical Life

Kathy Anderson

Bowl Full of Lemons

That lemon tree blooms
In life's midway soon
To give fruit
To the table, sure,
You'll have plenty more.

When pear trees drop new
You'd rather have few
To give fruit,
Instead shoot partridge,
A fable of courage.

Though lemons taste tart
Try hard not to part,
Keep the fruit,
It's about lessons
Some needed redress.

Remember schooling
Have lemonade flings,
To give fruit
A better spooling
In shades of loving.

Henceforth happiness
May ensue, no less
To give fruit,
For spirits sake please
Make sure it's released.

Connections

Mother and Father,
Heart and spirit,
Remember
Those who created
You, are all sacred.

Let heart and mind meld
Into both your hands,
Remember
Well, good things they taught
Strength when times are tough.

Hands too may create
Cradle or life's gate,
Remember
Where you came from now
So home stays within you.
Think of how you rocked
In arms warming locked,
Remember
Your first cup of milk
From hands smooth as silk.

Innumerable
Teachings enabled,
Remember
Riding your first bike,
Mowing grass, a delight.

-----

Dont Hold

Don't hold aloft dreams
Dreams can't come from void
Sleeping Woden,
Yet sleep needs a dream
To imagine life.

Don't hold on to schemes
For plans may foil then
Sleeping Woden,
Must again slumber
To hail new days sun.

Don't hold out your arms
To embrace what Fates
Sleeping Woden
May bring forth in Spring,
Spring to actions race.

Don't hold out for fears
To take down the signs
Sleeping Woden
Left behind on roads,
Lesser paths taken.

Don't hold onto past
That doesn't exist,
Sleeping Woden
Knows all life's ways
Though chooses for none.

-----

Evolving Self

To tell the truth,
Inner sense
Is all
That I can feel,
There isn't any past.

To tell the truth
Of who I am
Is all
That I've become
Which is more than sum.

To tell the truth
Nobody knows
The all
That I am now
Isn't the same self.

To tell the truth,
From sleep I wake
From all
That I was then
Daily to the new me.

To tell the truth,
We all go wrong
In all
Our paths in life,
None can be perfect.

For A While

To hold your hand now
Wishing time was slow,
Here we are
Saying nothing of the day
For our eyes say it's this way.

Ways a look can speak
Though it seems so meek,
Here we are
So far from saying goodbye,
The moon shines to show us why.

Staring at moons glow
Hands warmth let us know
Here we are
Now is all that matters when
Love lets us free fall again.

Just know no matter
How life goes spatter
Here we are
Making memories hat there
To wear in lonely times care.

Awaiting for grace
To give prayers face,
Here we are,
Oceans apart on your isle
Suddenly shared for awhile.

-----

Forgotten

Now you are proud
Under the cloud,
Come to me
Come to me soon,
Drawing down the moon.

Soon you will see
How clouds do free
Tears of sky
How much they fall,
Bloody vultures call.

Binocular
Sighting the mar
Much too soon,
Life bearing scar
Yet carries no bar.

Circling flight
Out of true sight,
Bury me
Before the trees
Branches canopy.

Ceremony
Forgotten eulogy
Never planned out
Setting stone in doubt.

-----

Frequency

Before we met
We knew this love
Was meant
To be predestined,
A complete circle.

Before we met
There was true love
That meant
Prior times sent
Us to our future.

Before we met
Love was the key,
This meant
Time isn't real,
But a flag to fly.

Before we met
Times flag unfurled,
Was meant
As our ships hail
To port together.

Before we met,
All frequencies
Were set
In tones of loves
Seaside symphony.

-----

Onwards

Every age dies
A singular death,
To remind
The world to weep
Not for time that flies.

Every age dies

Once and then done,
To remind
That time's not real,
It has no substance.

Every age dies
Moving forwards,
To remind
Life is complete,
Completely solvent.

Every age dies
Making more space,
To remind
That new things come,
To create better life.

Every age dies,
Beginnings end
To remind
Us to have hope,
Humanity lives on.

Poets Pen

I gave up my heart
To the poets pen
Under stars,
Wayward soul found art
Seeking journey's end.

Once it began thus
Romancing ink won
Under stars,
No Superfluous
Desired quill can sum.

Summoned moon came down
At scribes whim now
Under stars,
Brighten suns gown
Gossamer to wow,

Trails love has found
Below trees dark leaf
Under stars,
Become green mans ground,
Breezy leitmotif.

Ancient Merseberg charm
Spoken in a round
Under stars,
Find healing words warm
Peaceful song unbound.

-----

Regarding Worth

Fireflies in trees
Forest myself sees,
As am I
A forest of me,
One being in lea.

Good once as ever
Evergreen the fever,
As am I
Now as ever sown
The season of snow.

A season to fall
Fallen birches tall,
As am I
No saplings to tell
Life stories of hell.

Speak of the best days
Of branches bearing ways,
As am I
The fruit of groves plays
Golden fruit displays.

Beyond seasons
Sun shines eons,
As am I
An immortal soul
Unbound by blood.

Shades Of....

Mauve light closes day
Upon shades of blue
Turned to
Midnight black stars
Sharing life's stages.

Mauve light closes day
In the deep night
Turned to
Wonderful sight
To bask in moon glow.

Mauve light closes day
As hornet slumber,
Turned to
Butterflies wing
Glowing like fireflies.

Mauve light closes day
The indigo
Turns to
Ebon cloudy
Charcoal dark displays.

Mauve light closes day
Days begun bright
Turns to
Noon's brightest
Moments, shades darkest.

A Touch

A touch to lovers
is like a kiss.
To others
perhaps it is,
or perhaps not.

A touch to lovers
is absolute bliss
or more.
Many thing please
and makes them smile.

A touch to lovers
is never dismissed,
except
as a joyful joke
taken as such.

A touch to lovers
causing kinesis
a smile
the least action
then retaliation.

A touch to lovers
fills an abyss
caused
by souls wishing
to be together.

-----

Love's Emotions

Love's emotions
Can be ecstasy
That's true.
Not what you are
But what you make me.

Love's emotions
Can be agony
That's true.
Just being with you
Is all I really want.

Love's emotions
Should build eternally
So true.
Looking in your eyes
I see the rest of my life.

Love's emotions
Creates memories
And more.
It wakens my soul
And so much more

Love's emotions
Bring familiarity
No more.
But who needs more
You're everything.

-----

Soft Music

Soft music's playing
It's set to playback
Repeating
But no-one listens
It plays on and on.

Soft music's playing
Placid and happy
Feeling
There's no feeling
Where there should be.

Soft music's playing
A scene by a brook
Andante
There is no motion
From the listener.

Soft music's playing
Of a merry gath'ring
Allegro
Here there is one
He's not listening.

Soft music's playing
With no effect
Morto
There"s a smile though
He died happy.

A Magical Life

I need magic
its purity
fuels me;
mundane is life
without its glow.

I need magic
so I can be
vibrant
with chakras open
and third eye, alert.

I need magic
elves and faeries
are my friends,
vividly real
in moonlit forests.

I need magic
it fills me with glee
as I soar;
many lucid flights
enhance my dreams.

I need magic
it brings to me
contentment;
forever charmed
by its enchantments.
