Kathy Andersoninto nights wildness is released mithril laden elven goddess ghostly on horizons, glowing ageless, moon glimmers in clouds curtained silvery gray by the way passing as evens breath breathed, deep sleeping. under a lunar spell comes a beast haunting nemoral spaces blessed, blessing self in grovees of louvered love languishing naught the hours thereof, ending dark ages for freedom favored by all beings great or smaller than the tiniest ameobic swimmer in nights wildness been released. back to list |
Terry ClitheroeYou came into my dreams with your smile Waking me up from the lethargy of life Promising all, destining me to an afterlife. That look I knew would eternally beguile I'd search for that look time and time again And o'er my heart you'd always have rein. Would beg you to repeat for him alone awhile, Knowing full well that your heart is so gentile See how easy I will be won, with a simple kiss Having won your prize, think nothing less of this For my dreams were created by events erstwhile. You now possess my heart, soul and more Wilfully challenging what fate has in store Knowing finally that it has been worthwhile. ----- Ghosts of You and I As we walk along our shadows hold hands The way they merge and blend as we wander, Making them more real than us we wonder? Do they seem to have any physical demands? Sol created those images out of golden strips And they are merely shadows of our eclipse. Would that we were they, without demands Unified minds and souls, aware of life's plans. The absence of body is what reality means A unity of souls, an apotheosis of scenes. Our souls leading us to where it is sublime. Look, see how they unite, the way they blend See they merge, no overlap, they transcend As they walk along each shadow understands. ----- The Heat of a Woman How can you say you think you are so cool? Each time I look at you, I feel the heat Each time I see you no way can I retreat, I am besotted by you and yet I feel a fool. I turn on the player and soft music plays I look back at you and see your eyes ablaze Seeing you like this, wondering, is there any rule I feel so much about you, you're such a jewel. Our lips meet finally and I am forever yours It's now I realise I am caught in your fires. My desire is lit, I am naught but a fiery pool Your voice has changed drawing me closer Ever more I am besotted by your exposure How can you say you think you are so cool? ----- Interludes Separation is merely a lonely interlude And in reality just a click of eternities clock Disjointing with each break, never a block. Each life more to learn as love is renewed Each life a unison of souls once again Each life a new love, but in reality the same. In reality more Karma together is accrued Taking the paths together, much more is viewed. Along the path, one leads, the other follows There's no captain just a changeover of shadows Or a different tempo to each prelude So with each life, loves experience is gained It grows deeper, so innocently ascertained And even with Nirvana it will not conclude. ----- Journeys Where colours are enhanced in clearer skies Autumn evokes her scenes and melodies Looking around we see natures casualties. This is the believed time when most flora dies It isn't death you see it's merely a time of rest The roots and seeds are nocturnally dressed. The greens may stay, taking on a winter guise But with the previous plants there are still ties. They will become part of the next generation Their departure has laid another foundation Those gifts to mother Earth is Natures prize Where budding trees and the plants scent out And we see life begin again, without any doubt Again seeing new life and colours and skies. ----- Karma Cast adrift on a sea of uncertainty My hope is scanty as events shift Removing insanity my spirit lift. I must be swift and cease ambiguity The anchor has already been weighed Yesterday's been paid the future not made. And a decision made with absurdity The shore in the distance without reality My craft has sunk and far from land I broke my rules now naughts to hand. Is there aught I can do to assure certainty. Is this what Karma is, you sow then reap? For a dreamer who always stays asleep Is there ought I can do to save me? ----- New Found Love Soon the morning sun will light the sky. Two lovers wake with sleep filled eyes Still smiling from last nights revelries. Morn wakes them up from where they lie Dawn's twilight mood is now failing fast The avian choir has started to sing at last. The day will be spent apart and They'll sigh, But at night there is plenty of love in supply. This is the time for experiment and play For new found love was ever this way There are no rules 'cept love will apply. Where two once strangers learn to be one Where at last an eternity together's begun Finding out that true love can never die. ----- Only in Death No earthly body can live forever Only in death can a body be perfect No more wrinkles do we need detect? See how sod and body blend together Because there's corruption of the flesh And with the sod the corpse will mesh. Recycling the body is extremely clever Care must be taken in burial however Only in death can a body be perfect There's no need of mirrors to inspect Nature will take good care of whoever. Soon the tomb will become the creche And each night rise corrupt and fresh. But the soul however will last forever. ----- Para Aprender Amar To learn to love, you must first learn to cry Our bodies and minds conditioned by life Must show no emotion and be stoic in strife Offer your heart before love says goodbye. For too long now, my heart has been asleep But slowly through joy, I'm learning to weep. Here beside you my kisses only cause your sighs Gathering feelings that now only amplifies. Now there are tears my heart is open again, Not tears or sobs of a heart wrenched in pain. At last it has become the time for you to cry I have looked in your eyes and I see your tears You have held it inside you for all these years As anger and frustration from inside you die. ----- Questions of blame What dreams that were born, transpired today Do they wait for the wind to whisper their name Is there any requirement to prevent any blame? Is it just like a supermarket line on a busy day And are we all judged and treated similarly Is there any way that we are treated differently. Or does that whispering wind play away, Making promise to others leading them astray Is love just a vapour a kind of mystical smoke And cupids arrow just a casual sticks poke? Not guaranteed to last after next Saturday. Or does he carefully select a pair and aim So that in the end is there is no-one to blame Aiding; helping dreams that were born today. ----- Unison Our souls have been joined so many times And even though now we are worlds apart, We don't allow it to separates each heart Realising up to now it has been sublime. You are my lover my souls eternal mate, And we realise it was so ordained by fate. We have always been on the same climb Sometimes at odds because of wartime. Sometimes late like now finally meeting After we have spent all our life searching Doing our search we found our paradigm. Because I know it is the same with you This then must be our final chosen view Our souls have been joined so many times. ----- Xanadu How can love be too much, when 'tis complete? How can being complete ever be too much? Each one in its allotted space, just like such. A jigsaw has its shaped pieces, thou cannot cheat I lose that essential piece, making me a mortal. And in winning thee, will attain heavens portal. Would that I were perfect but in my conceit I wouldst try and love more, I will not be beat. I say winning thy love would be perfection This is not conceit trying to win thy affection I can prove my love, there is no need to cheat. I will take thee to a place oft known as Xanadu There will abide when life on Earth is through. Knowing Eternity and that we are complete? ----- Yesterdays Dreams As I watch a leaf whilst sat under a tree Pirouetting in the air like a ballet dancer Possessed by the wind who's a necromancer. The wind is causing it to dance with glee Imagination given reign to a mystery Thankful to a scenic day that's blistery. Yesterdays dreams seem to blow from me I care not for they are caused by our revelry. Tomorrows like the leaf are still up in the air And yet now I'm free, no longer do I care No longer do I worry about uncertainty Why should I, I am happy and very content I know now that our togetherness is ascent As I watch a leaf whilst sat under a tree. ----- Zinfandel and More Tonight let's have a drinking race Fill the tankard with wine that's soured Competition in jars shall be what's scored Without your love no clock has a face. Pour down the wine let us drink to forget Plans made in good faith, caused only sweat My feet's far too leaded to stand the pace Memory still stays I cannot ever erase. Un-lived dreams litter the path I now walk Once loving conversations are all just talk Life's bitter brew that my cup shall misplace. With pleasured gifts now nought but a debt Overcome by wine I'm still with loss beset All thoughts of love's pleasure I will erase. back to list |
Jeremy FarmerA man has a rule by which he lives by A guiding line that keeps him to his path Yet still he falls into the aftermath His honour lost within the tears that cry Somehow he builds his life again, from what? The shards of pain as that's all he has got He'll hold to his rule until he comes to die And as a man I know the reason why I have my rule that keeps my spirit strong As it leads me through life even when wrong And I have to find a new way to try My golden rule held deep inside my soul And it echoes round me keeping me whole My rule is love, and one I must apply. ----- Latte's Lament I watched him frown into her tearful eyes As I sat alone with a coffee cup I watched as in silence they both stood up Instead I was hearing your anguished sighs From the heated words we shared late last night A bitter exchange that must be put right I promised you once there would be no lies And pleasure the reason I'd hear your cries Yet sorry is the hardest word to say And I need to say it so much today Admitting I am wrong may not be wise But babe I hurt you and deserve the flack Whatever it takes to win your heart back For now, I know love's truth wears no disguise back to list |
