2015 Poetry Form Challenge

#13 Rondel

Another beautiful but neglected poetry form having lost its popularity to others in the passage of fashions. Basically its a 13 line poem which forms around two rhymes. There is a refrain, which is set up by the first two lines of the first stanza.

The rhyme pattern is A. B. a. b.. a. b. a. b. .. for the two Quatrains then
a. b. b. A. . or a. b. a. b. B.

The Rondel

With just thirteen lines and two rhymes.
The first two lines -- the first stanza --
Form a refrain and the central rhymes.
(Hint: simple like Tony Danza!)

A few choice words of better times
Beauty, love, the fruits of Kwanzaa
With just thirteen lines and two rhymes.
The first two lines, the first stanza,

Form the refrain the poem's Chimes;
BUT! Quintain reigns the last stanza
Like Juan Bautista de Anza,
So you extract its basic primes
With just thirteen lines and two rhymes.

Leprechaunn Dance

Leprechaun dance, Leprechaun dance
Just for the spot, dance and cavort!
When he be good he's so fancy,
When he be bad he's no good sport.

But looking for a new Irish port
Sends sweet notes to each pretty lass.
Leprechaun dance, Leprechaun dance
Just for the sport, dance and cavort!

For an epithet none shall court
His name as Great, but look askance,
His mischievous ways of parlance
An idiom by means, an art.
Leprechaun dance, Leprechaun dance.

Say Yes

Someday the spring will be ours
Someday loves dice will fall for sure
Our hearts to find just the right hours.
Some summer when time waits to lure

No brook shall steal away the cure
Nor pull up the last bright flower.
Someday the spring will be ours
Someday loves dice will fall for sure.

Fascination becomes the tour
For springs trumpets are not lour.
We quietly search the towers
Where first we discovered allures.
Someday the spring will be ours.

Guiding Flight

Oh, show me how you learned to glide
in raised relief, enhanced with light,
unruffled by the surging tide,
serenity within your sight.

I see your canvas opened wide,
soft traces etched by wings of white.
Oh, show me how you learned to glide
in raised relief, enhanced with light.

It is my wish to fly beside,
to share your vision from such height.
I look to you to be my guide,
a fledgling on a virgin flight.
Oh, show me how you learned to glide
in raised relief, enhanced with light.

I repeat

Redundantly excessive, I repeat
So difficult to simplify a thought
Superfluous, unnecessary feet
In verbiage expressed when overwrought

Such overstated views seem incomplete
Exaggerated intellect spouts naught
Redundantly excessive, I repeat
So difficult to simplify a thought

In jargon specialized for sects elite
Like esoteric theories often taught
Forgotten states of mind become distraught
Hypothesizing abstracts oft concrete
Redundantly excessive, I repeat

My time

My time goes fast when searching , I'll explain..
I love to learn ~ it stimulates my mind.
Selected poems of yours bestir my brain.
They send it off to see what it can find.

Each link joins in a never-ending chain
to hold me here, as if I was confined.
My time goes fast when searching, I'll explain..
I love to learn ~ it stimulates my mind.

And yet it is my choice, for I remain
discovering such wonders intertwined.
It is a journey far from the mundane.
So, Tezza ;) , thanks, I'll say it once again ~
My time goes fast when searching , I'll explain..
I love to learn ~ it stimulates my mind.

Never have I known

I've heard it tell that, truly, love exists,
but never have I known a lover true.
I listen to the songs and reminisce,
yet, memories just take me back to you.

So strange how truth was hidden and dismissed.
Through all those years, I never really knew.
I've heard it tell that, truly, love exists,
but never have I known a lover true.

I sometimes wonder, was it in your kiss?
It tasted sweet - a sugarcoating, too?
Your twinkling eyes betrayed their shady view;
I fell beneath their spell in dreams of bliss.
I've heard it tell that, truly, love exists,
but never have I known a lover true.

Adoro quello che puo sempre essere la mia

I worship what can forever be mine,
Never possibly passing for what is a dream,
And so we will wait and bide our time.
But you are real, in all that love may seem,

Love is a silly state, that makes a fool of time,
Fools are happiest in that state it would seem,
I worship what can forever be mine,
Never possibly passing for what is a dream,

Souls are easy guided once lover's align
And happier still creating a happy theme
Realising about love there is no extreme
Especially realising our souls have combined
I worship what can forever be mine.

Be thee like a rose

Be thee like a Rose my beloved
Let not thy thorns keep me away.
When I see thee I am resolved
So pray hold me and bid me stay.

Thy womanly scent has drawn me,
My hasty actions thus betray
Be thee like a Rose my beloved
Let not thy thorns keep me away.

To have thee forever I am resolved
Please let your resistance decay
I'm drawn, and for my actions pay
Like a worker bee I am resolved
Be thee like a Rose my beloved.

-----

Follow Me

Follow me to a place of dreams
Of life and love and silver thought
There is no need of fancy schemes
Love is all and so easily bought.

Being in love is like eating icecreams
Other will say it's more like torte.
Follow me to a place of dreams
Of life and love and silver thought

Open up to love, let's see you gleam
It will be my pleasure, you to court
Believe with love it's easy to disport
Feel again, and see some lovely scenes
Follow me to a place of dreams.

-----

Gentle Dawn

See how gently comes the morn,
As the sun kisses the eastern hills
And shows the new day is born
Then soon into the valley spills.

See golden rays the peaks adorn
Warming away night times chills
See how gently comes the morn,
As the sun kisses the eastern hills.

As soft spoke winds are newly born
Each golden ray springs forth thrills,
Birds awake and send out their trills.
Life's commenced at first lights horn
See how gently comes the morn!

-----

Hot Air

Yesterday I watched hot air balloons
Traffic slowed at this lovely sight
Seeing six smiling coloured moons
Soaring eastward in the morning light.

We drove on in slowed communes
Smiling as we watched their flight.
Yesterday I watched hot air balloons
Traffic slowed at this lovely sight

Into the dark Burnley Tunnel like goons
Going deep instead of being in flight
All we see is car and truck headlights
How many of us felt like silly goons?
Yesterday I watched hot air balloons.

Just One Look

Would that smile invite a single kiss
Even more with just one single touch?
Nay much more's offered with all this
One single glance betrays so much.

That now coy look could not disguise
One single glance betrays so much.
Would that smile invite a single kiss
Even more with just one single touch?

Former barriers have been dismissed
Now with passion you like to clutch
The dimpled cheeks, the eyes avouch
The reddened face and look of bliss,
Would that smile invite a single kiss.

Kinaestesia 2

See how rivers dance as starlight twinkles
And clouds like dreams fly across the sky
Eve's wind gently waves the ranunculales
Almost as if wishing the dying day goodbye.

Birds go silent heads under wings, slumbers
The rats wildly rampage whilst the bats fly
See how rivers dance as starlight twinkles
And clouds like dreams fly across the sky

Mother moon arises and her light sprinkles
Blessings and lover stop and stare and sigh
Seeing the moon and stars smiling so happily
Ruling the heavens blessing hill and dales
See how rivers dance as starlight twinkles.

-----

Night Story

Listen to the night winds wail
Over the bodies of the newly dead
Carrying their souls beyond life's veil
The body rotting in its earthy bed.

And creating this ghastly tale
From which all sanity has fled.
Listen to the night winds wail
Over the bodies of the newly dead.

Suddenly feel that hellish flail
Shrivelled hands reach out to your dread.
Feel them grab and cling and spread
Welcome the grave for this the tale
Listen to the night winds wail.

Profile of Destiny

What is this thing we call a soul
I cannot see, nor can I feel
Yet without it I am not whole
And you tell me that it's so real.

I sit here and watch my life unroll
Silent waiting for fate to deal
What is this thing we call a soul
I cannot see, nor can I feel

It seems inevitable after all
As Destiny winds in her reel
With heat and wax she makes a seal
As cupid fires, once again I fall
What is this thing we call a soul?

Question

And how must we greet the morn
I came to you because of dreams
Will my dreams now fit the dawn,
Are you part of my fates schemes?

Or just that our lives have drawn
Two boats met on life's ocean themes
And how must we greet the morn
I came to you because of dreams.

Sharing our load together each dawn
You now walk with me we're a team
Knowing our live's together it seems
Together Love can ne'er be overdrawn
And how we must greet the morn.

Rain in the Bush

The rain sounds so different here
Not strident and insensible felt
But clean and pure and oh so clear
Not slapping against dirty asphalt.

Some would call it an Angels tear
Creating scents I have happily smelt.
The rain sounds so different here
Not strident and insensible felt

With it a feeling the opposite of austere
Bringing a breeze scented when smelt
And a relaxed feeling so happily felt
It's funny what your senses make clear
As the rain sounds so different here.

A touch of peace from a forest pool

See the suns rays flickering through
With sprinkling pillars of golden air
And insects like smoke invade the view
In the soft, silent lush green forest fair.

Then disappear like Will O Wisp do
Leaving the pool to the morning glare.
See the suns rays flickering through
With sprinkling pillars of golden air

Lily-pad laden borders spread through
Blooms tint the pool from white to red.
All is silent as again night life goes to bed.
Mist shrouded fern and grass with dew
See the suns rays flickering through.

What do I know?

What do I know, anything of thee
I touch thee and I feel thee shiver
I feel thy skin so soft welcome me
Touching thee and I want thee forever

One touch of thee my soul becomes free
That bond is impossible to sever
What do I know, anything of thee
I touch thee and I feel thee shiver

Eyes closed so that you feel not see
Hold me, knowing we are together
Soul partners that cannot part ever
We are committed forever to be
That's what I know, everything of thee.

You

When you're lost from me for a while
I look inside my heart and you are there.
Then as I look and I see your smile
I know that you are with me everywhere.

When you and I are on a separate isle
I close my eyes knowing that you care.
When you're lost from me for a while
I look inside my heart and you are there.

When you and I meet again you beguile
Know my heart is open, my soul laid bare
I am aware that we are a contented pair
As together we face that Eternal mile
When you're lost from me for a while.

Ancient Scribes

Who may decipher words unknown
That linger upon an ancient script
They all have meanings of their own
Upon epitaphs of an aged crypt.

In ancient times seed were sown
Within tombs of ancient Egypt
Who may decipher words unknown
That linger upon an ancient script.

When winds of time had blown
No word was left of the script
That was written on the crypt
Some say birds had up and flown
Who may decipher words unknown.

The Awakening

I saw you in the pale moonlight
Tho' you were many miles away
I saw you bow your head to pray
Or was it a dream I had last night.

Once we walked the meadow bright
I shall always recall that day
I saw you in the pale moonlight
Tho' you were many miles away

Shadow's cast an illusion of sight
Where fantasies shall easily stray
Whatever happens love if you may
It may just be a trick of light
I saw you in the pale moonlight.

A Child In Need

How must she feel when pain goes on
When the love she had faded away
Shall there not be hope to lean upon
Why may innocence suffer this day

A child in need when her love has gone
Most of her affection had gone astray
How must she feel when pain goes on
When the love she had faded away.

Cast in a shadow where no sun shone
She never asked to be left this day
Just a little love was all she could say
But feelings of love for her had gone
When the love she had faded away.

Fanciful Musings

What shall I make for dinner tonight?
For my lordship has much demands
Fish and chips for him shant be right
For the odour may cling to my hands.

If only I had favoured second sight
And lived upon a beach by the sands
What shall I make for dinner tonight?
For my lordship has much demands.

May be one day he shall see the light
Upon reason he might understand
Within my plight I shall wash my hands
But then why should I give up the fight
What shall I make for dinner tonight?

Farmyard Folly

Oh the cock he shall crow in the morn`
And maybe at the end of their day
Tis the hens that know they be born
When the rooster shall have his way

With bales of hay and an acre of corn
And there be first of chicks within May
Oh the cock he shall crow in the morn`
And maybe at the end of their day

The wired fence it be up and be torn
Within a frenzy of panic upon this day
The hens they have all but one ran away
The old cocks he faring mighty forlorn
There is not a thing right he shall say.

Just One Kiss

May love divine be sealed with a kiss
Forever to be within eternity blessed
That shows upon eyes of utter bliss
Soft of touch within fantasy caressed

Bright the moon on an eve such as this
As true lovers blissfully progressed
May love divine be sealed with a kiss
Forever to be within eternity blessed

For love comes easily no hit nor miss
Love deep within shall be expressed
That seals forever as lips are pressed
Stepping unto the light from dark abyss
May love divine be sealed with a kiss.

-----

A Maiden Weeps

A maiden weeps within her heart
No sad tears shall venture forth
For pain of sorrow ne-er be worth.
Tis best if both lovers stay apart.

There is no chance of a fresh start
To love once again upon this earth
A maiden weeps within her heart
No sad tears shall venture forth.

'Tis writ within an ancient chart
Past lovers shall never come forth
From the East South West or North
Upon past scrolls of decyphered art
A maiden weeps within her heart.

-----

Mary`s Tears

All is so quiet there is nobody here
Where has the children all gone to
Not even of laughter shall I hear
Nor tears to flow as they often do.

No longers shall I see them appear
When memories shall be but few
All is so quiet there is nobody here
Nor tears to flow as they often do

A faded dew drop of one sad tear
May reveal within all that is blue
Sadness shall ever be missing you
Yet your presence is never to fear
All is so quiet there is nobody here.

Mirrors Tell Lies

A young girl looks in the mirror
And always finds fault there in
What ever else are mirrors for
Was that a pimple on her skin

It maybe her eyes saw an error
Was that not a mole on her chin
A young girl looks in the mirror
And always finds fault there in.

What is that? she howls in terror
A silver strand she finds within
One of her golden locks wearing thin
If only her visions were clearer
A young girl looks in the mirror.

-----

Stepping Stones

Take me to the future unknown
To the land of eternal lovers within
Love in this land that is ever shown
Purity of love never of sin.

Feel a breath of desire as wind blown
Nature shall ever be ours to win
Take me to the future unknown
To a land of eternal lovers within.

Midstream love is a stepping stone
Those who dare forever fall in
But may ever reminisce to begin
True lovers are as for ever prone
Take me to the future unknown.

-----

Try As I Must

Try as I must soldier on in my plight
A composition that shall easily flow
If only I was to get the rhythm right
My confidence shall eventually grow

It is then I shall have a second sight
The sky is above and the earth below
Try as I must soldier on in my plight
My confidence shall eventually grow

A future ahead that appears as bright
A premonition I may need to know
Starlights of the night may ever show
For a simpler rhyme I shall not a write
Try as I must soldier on in my plight.

The Poetess, - Maria Sandery

-----

Virtuous Patience

You must have patience to teach a child
Tantrums may follow as tears may flow
Until you may make their interest grow
Treat them gently be strong but be mild

To witness woe was as never beguiled
For trust within is what she shall know
You must have patience to teach a child
Tantrums may follow as tears may flow.

She may be guided forth gently compiled
It shall be then she shall reach a plateau
It takes one to teach and another to show
But her creative glory shall be all but wild
You must have patience to teach a child.

Woodland Nymph

Nymph within water pray tell me do
Why are you so sad upon this morn`
Upon an ocean that once was of corn.
That you should look upon the dew.

Were you a witness of the ocean blue
'Twas not to be when earth was born
Nymph within water pray tell me do
Upon an ocean that once was of corn.

Past be known when corn fields grew
Whilst eternal floods violated scorn
Until change took place all was shorn
Pray tell me O nymph mirrored anew
Nymph within water pray tell me do.

Words Of Wisdom

Why may this be said the naked tree
I may never grow leaves like others
Boughs that shall never flow as free
For I envy the leaves of my brothers.

Cast not much envy upon what you see
For leaves shall shrivel and wither
Why may this be said the naked tree
If I may never grow leaves like others.

Stand proudly upon your earthen plea
Then leaves shall surely come hither
They shall all spring forth together
Prayers may be answered wait and see
Why may this be said the naked tree.

Oh spirit of the wolf thou art with me

For eyes see thro`and know I care,
Thy senses show I shalt respect thee,
This bonding of spirits we doth share.

Hugs For Australian War Hero`s

They need a hug for all they are.
Contact is comfort to the soul,
By way of helping, to be on par
To make a wounded man whole.

When they hurt, it`s so bizarre
To find an end to their goal,
They need a hug for all they are,
Contact is comfort to the soul.

Reassured hugs blessed by far,
A gesture needed to console,
Gifted practice, of self control
For peace wont hide the scar
They need a hug for all they are.

Leprechaun Of Erin

The Leprechaun King of the fae
A most mischievous little green man
The joy of Erins Saint Patrick day
And the pride of old Irelands clan.

He plays the fiddle, and jigs all day
Drinks more poteen than he can,
The Leprechaun King of the fae
A most mischievous little green man.

His pot of gold is hidden away
He`s the richest in all the land
Luck is a shamrock in his hand
This little green man is they say
The Leprechaun King of the fae.

Little Princess Of Spring

As fresh as the daffodils that bloom in Spring
Prettiest little Princess that I have ever seen,
Playing in the meadows she bursts out to sing
Spreads a little sunshine over fields of green.

Smiles at the tree tops to birds on the wing
Peeps thro` tall blades to find a fairy queen
As fresh as the daffodils that bloom in Spring,
Prettiest little Princess that I have ever seen.

Deep in her heart she is kind enough to bring
Love and affection where ever she has been
Adorable and sweet with nothing in between
This make believe faerie, within a faerie ring
As fresh as the daffodils that bloom in Spring.

Oh My Lover

Oh my Lover come hold me tonight
For I need thy arms around me
Hast been here alone in my plight
I hath love in my heart for thee.

The moon tonight shall be bright
`neath boughs of the oaken tree
Oh my lover come hold me tonight
For I need thy arms around me.

If I be thy lady, and thee my knight
Let thy flames of love burn free
And together we both shalt see
That this love together feels right
Oh my lover come hold me tonight.

A Perfect Place

The perfect place I could be
Away from the City and town,
In a cottage built just for me
Alone with natures surround.

Wildlife nearby for company
To rest by the rivers sound,
The perfect place I could be
Away from the City and town

To sing with birds in the tree,
Nowhere is out of bounds,
My new life blissfully found
At one with myself and free.
The perfect place I could be.

Ravens Prophecy

Death comes to all quoth the Raven in flight,
Now his shadow doth darken the castle wall,
Where a witch was imprisoned many a night
There awaiting her trial within the great hall.

Accusations and anger, added to her plight,
Concoctions had been brewed for them all.
This Raven had warned of mythical insights
Now his shadow doth darken the castle wall.

The Reaper stood by hot flames so bright.
Where her courage and beauty did enthral
Beckoning her towards him, for his final call,
Her shrilling screams were heard until light
Death comes to all quoth the Raven in flight.

There Will Be No Tears

No tears of sadness when I`m gone,
No thoughts of sorrow nor grief
For I was one the sun shone on
When love from thee bequeath.

Celebrate with a dance and song
Without flowers for me or wreath
No tears of sadness when I`m gone,
No thoughts of sorrow nor of grief.

For I shalt not be gone for long
My spirits arise from the heath
Floating up to the sky as a leaf,
Only for you my heart doth belong
No tears of sadness when I`m gone.

Vision of ancestors old and wise ,
I pray Oh wise one, come hear me,
Hear our tribe, heed their cries.

Tribal plea the fate of the Cree,
Hear our tribe, heed their cries
Once more shall see spirits rise
Prairies green, land of the free

beneath the moon's silvery light

My love show me thy heart is mine
in one, sweet kiss as lips invite
as all of me is indeed thine
beneath the moon's silvery light.

Oh let me taste thy sweetest wine
beneath the moon's silvery light
my love show me thy heart is mine
I'll surrender to thee tonight

Thy touch sends shivers down my spine
and lifts my heart to greater height
as wild senses, meekly resign
and succumb to passions delight.
My love show me thy heart is mine
beneath the moon's silvery light.

Colliding Ships

A kiss on full lips crash colliding ships
They meet in firm touch, their claim to ensnare
Together they ride, they roll in the dare
Under stars on cool waves with white, frosty tips

Taste of warm breath and mingling cool air
Fine balm to a soul amid ocean dips
A kiss on full lips crash colliding ships
They meet in firm touch, their claim to ensnare

Motion o'ertakes them, the waves at fast clips
Gather power between the swollen, red pair
On waves of collision throws caution beware
To the winds of the cooling night airy whips
A kiss on full lips crash colliding ships
They meet in firm touch, their claim to ensnare.

Colorfast

If I shine, I shine because of you,
My prism; you paint me in rainbows;
Coloring my dreams as you pass through,
To fire up my heart until it glows.

From my throat new melodies issue
Unbidden as the songs of sparrows.
If I shine, I shine because of you,
My prism; you paint me in rainbows.

Preceding, one note was all I knew,
Whereas in time we've come to compose
A livelier tune and one more true
In nature to true love as it grows.
If I shine, I shine because of you,
My prism; you paint me in rainbows.

Tender Tender

Dear lady, I would have of thee no less
Than I would offer thee of me; My heart.
Let's join hands happily and with our best
Intentions, live as equals from this start.

All partnerships experience duress,
Yet none so dire as needs tear them apart;
Dear lady, I would have of thee no less
Than I would offer thee of me; My heart.

Embarked so, allow as I'd suggest,
True love requires more of work than art;
The sense to keep the horse before the cart
And gentle gratitude in its progress.
Dear lady, I would have of thee no less.

City of Angels

All I could hear was the scream of jets.
When I tried to listen to the earth today
The people here do they forget
Nothing works here there is no way.

Not realising what was the debt?
Or have they just walked away,
All I could hear was the scream of jets.
When I tried to listen to the earth today

The Earth breathes and lives and yet
They are deaf who deny they have to pay
And carry on living in their selfish way.
Mankind carries on without regret
All I could hear was the scream of jets.

Do I know anything

Do I know anything at all of thee?
I touch thee and I feel thee shiver
I feel thy skin so soft to my touch
Yet as I touch thee I see a change.

As I touch thee I see the lumps
Thy skin whitens with Goosebumps
Do I know anything at all of thee?
I touch thee and I feel thee shiver

Thy eyes close and draw me close
Hold me to thee, so strong thy hold
I feel thy breath upon my face
With all thy might you hold me in,
Do I know anything at all of thee?

In the Darkness

In the darkness I find my fear
Feeling, hearing every sound
Lying here powerless to fight
Totally aware of the dark

Then I feel the first sharp bite
The sensation the acid burns
In the darkness I find my fear
Feeling, hearing every sound

I feel them everywhere now
Penetrated a million times
Voracious appetites I feed
My body now a piece of meat
In the darkness I find my fear.

Je Sais (I Know)

I know that I have met my love
Somewhere in the mists of time
And that ever in the stars above
We meet and share and you are mine

When fates decree to be sublime
We have a life others dream of
I know that I have met my love
Somewhere in the mists of time

Separated now by a different clime
But united by mans stars above
And secure in the knowledge of
A union that will be soo fine
I know that I have met my love

Non Vederemo Mai

We will never see the spring
We will never see the fall
Our hearts will always sing
With hardly time for love at all.

We have so much love to bring
It's the way loves dice will call.

We will never see the fall

You can never wear my ring
Or dance with me at a ball.
But my heart you have enthral
And it is my heart I bring.
We will never see the spring.

Not So Hard

It's not so hard to be in love with you
For destiny has made you mine
With each second my love grew
Even for so very short a time.

Loving, with a love oh so true,
And now as we part I start to pine.
It's not so hard to be in love with you
For destiny has made you mine

The love of you I will never rue
Now our love has grown so fine
The Gods gift to us a love divine.
An eternal gift of love so true
It's not so hard to be in love with you

As Destiny winds in her reel
With heat and wax she makes a seal
As cupid fires, once again I fall
What is this thing we call a soul?

Quantum Love

Is it to reality we finally ascend,
With the union of souls the final scenes?
Merging, no overlap we transcend
Where non-physical self's what life means

On rebirth never having to depend
And minds and souls, feel so serene
Is it to reality we finally ascend,
With the union of souls the final scenes?

Myths and mystery no longer contend
We'll be able to create our own dreams
Independent of electronic machines
With a love we know will never end
Is it to reality we finally ascend?

Sounds Familiar

Morning wind sends shiver through the wild Mallee
The sounds of cattle and sheep once covered this land.
The humble bees heard buzzing from a nearby tree
Now there’s the terrible din from some loud crap band.

That bush where once wild birds cavorted so merrily
Is now streets and dwellings that will ever expand.
Morning wind sends shiver through the wild Mallee
The sounds of cattle and sheep once covered this land.

Now we hear duff-duff instead of sounds that are free
But for peaceful sounds there's no commercial demand.
When will man begin to at least start to understand,
Why doesn't he listen as nature talks to him, willingly?
Morning wind sends shiver through the wild Mallee.

Tellement Pour Faire (So Much To Do)

So much to do so much to share
To fill your love you must live again
Or is love meant to drive insane
Any lovers that would love dare.

A life of love a life of care
True love helps in time of pain.
So much to do so much to share
To fill your love you must live again

True love ever modest never vain
Be prepared your souls to bare.
Whenever needed it's always there
Helping each other to sustain
So much to do so much to share.

Fear

I feel this person in my head
He's trying to take over me
And makes me stop to live instead
So now my life's no longer free

The thoughts he thinks are really bad
I feel him watching me with glee
I feel this person in my head
He's trying to take over me

Some days I'm longing to be dead
Then I won't have to pay the fee
Which will be mine when I'll be lead
To that I just don't wish to be
I feel this person in my head
He's trying to take over me!!!

II

Ever so slowly I can feel
My mind being taken over
The world is becoming unreal
As I day by day discover!

No matter how I may appeal
Or may try to find a cover
Ever so slowly I can feel
My mind being taken over

I cannot escape this ordeal
My spirit has to uncover
Need a hiding place to deal
With this dread that seems to hover
Ever so slowly I can feel
My mind being taken over

III

I feel I'm being drawn apart
And bits and pieces of my ME
Are slowly breaking from my heart
Will there be any left to be?

I feel I have to be on guard
For all these parts of me I see
I feel I'm being drawn apart
And bits and pieces of my ME

Are growing like a vicious wart
They listen to the name of WE
Where is the I, I used to be?
I'm searching; don't know where to start
For bits and pieces of my ME
I feel I'm being drawn apart!!!!!!!

IV

I feel I have to find a way
To reunite these many I's
It's too confusing every day
To listen to their many lies

I need to find a way to stay
Just one, at least in my own eyes
I feel I have to find a way
To reunite these many I's

If I can switch most off I may
Be able to live without cries
Find strength to live just through today
I don't want yet to say goodbyes
I feel I have to find a way
To reunite these many I's

V or the end of it

I think I found a way at last
To stop those voices in my mind
To get rid of fears from the past
Or jolly well pay back in kind

Today I found in my mind vast
A way to freedom from this bind
I hope I found a way at last
To stop those voices in my mind

Go back to sanity real fast
A message read in eyes not blind
I look into those eyes and find
For me the die has not been cast
I know I found the way at last
To stop those voices in my mind!

In Times Unknown

In times unknown we must have met
How could we else have met this time
To our destiny we were led
To find at last a love sublime

It is not easy as of yet
To tell of this is not a crime
It took awhile before we met
We had to wait a long, long time

But after everything's been said
I really couldn't give a dime
I'll send you in this little rhyme
All of my love and heart instead
In times unknown we must have met
How else could we have met this time?

Moonlight

Last night I was awakened by the moon
'twas bright and full and shone into my room.
Its light did penetrate my dreams too soon,
before they could have come into full bloom.
Because of that I fell into deep gloom.

The dreams had been so very promising,
they took me far away across the skies.
The moon however, caused the vanishing
of longed for loving and passionate cries.
The dream was gone, by moon changed into lies.

The only thing that was still left to me,
to chase away the feelings of dark doom,
was writing down these words to set me free.
When peace returned, I went back to my room,
in newfound dreams I joined my nightly groom.
