#05 Wordsworth's Sonnet

Wordsworth and Coleridge were influential in starting the Romantic Age in English literiture. His father encouraged him to read Milton, Shakespeare and Spenser and there is a possible influence by them in his sonnet form.
The Wordsworth Sonnet comprises of an Italian Octave

From the same. To the Supreme Being

The prayers I make will then be sweet indeed
If Thou the spirit give by which I pray:
My unassisted heart is barren clay,
Which of its native self can nothing feed:
Of good and pious works thou art the seed,
Which quickens only where thou say'st it may:
Unless thou shew to us thine own true way
No man can find it: Father! thou must lead.
Do Thou, then, breathe those thoughts into my mind
By which such virtue may in me be bred
That in thy holy footsteps I may tread;
The fetters of my tongue do Thou unbind,
That I may have the power to sing of thee,
And sound thy praises everlastingly.

Into Death

Into death rides times passage into dark
Darkened recesses of memories hold,
Ships hold carries them all to rivers old
Pathways beyond Lethe as Persephone's spark
Held hope to never forget livings work.
The energy into which death infold's
Taking away that that promised its gold,
Golden moments of inhaled breath not irk
To suffer the bitter taste of smokes edge
Ever the never land of yellowed page
Withered and brittle finding no more sedge
For cutting, for it brings only the gauge
By what endings are told forevermore
Forever the Reaper yields his blades score.

Our Lunar Blessing

Each night as I go for a walk I look at the moon
It seems each night her smile's a little larger
Her light a little brighter and lasting longer.
Sometimes I wonder if I have spoken too soon,
Until all I see is her, a huge bright smiling balloon.
But the next few nights I see her get thinner
Realising she isn't the boss, just the messenger
Just the source, often causing us to ever swoon
Realising that she is smiling her approval of us.
We have her blessing, what more do we need
When hidden by cloud there is no loss of trust
Cupid does not shoot arrows he casts out seed.
Then I look at you and realise our love imagery,
Thus spend nights together worshiping merrily.

-----

Sei Divenato un Presenza

You have become a presence in my mind.
I do not like it, for no longer is my mind free
Now my time is taken up with thoughts of thee
My thoughts were controlled and simple kind.
I can see you, everywhere that I look I find
Each waking moment thoughts of you I see
So different of what I thought love would be
Someone whose soul and mine've combined.
Thoughts wander off in space, leaving me blind
Thinking about something's that could just be
The way our souls around each other wind
Of the future, of love and of you and me.
With my thoughts of one for who I now care
Thoughts of a time with just you and I there.

-----

Unknowing

Rising up from sleep to greet another day
First thoughts of him, love swells like a tide
Starting morning wishing he was by her side
And wonders if he thought of her, in his way.
For just a brief few moments, thoughts go astray
Catching her lonely stare that's looking so sad eyed,
The woman in the mirror sighs, so much she's cried
Her finger reaches out to trace I love you, on the tray.
Music, wine, candlelight, making love every dawn
Memories, so bitter sweet rush through her head
Thoughts of how he held her, sharing the same bed
Then a brave goodbye, her feelings haven't gone.
Pulling herself together she whispers out his name
Unknowing many miles away he's feeling the same.

-----

Xanadu

Beyond our reach is a rich land of fantasy
In another place, and some other time,
Is this perfect place with a perfect clime.
It's all you wish your life and dreams to be.
Everything we plan and wish and dare to see
Will each and every night be waiting to climb
This kaleidoscope so full of a life's sublime,
Relax a while and let your minds go free.
With closed eyes you let your cares drift by
Give yourself to thoughts of love and more
As each and every night on your beds you lie
Awaken in dreams on a white beached shore.
Your lover is there each night waiting for you
And loves reality gives you all there is to view.

Nature - Sonnet Sequence

Texte

Creatures know their place and seek a mate
Given any chance we see new life begin
See the humble spider, and look at her spin
All beasts live in harmony within their state.
Knowing it will have its time then will abate
Each spring plants push forth new leaves again
That Nature's balance must be, is everything
Life wakes again and begins to procreate.
All this was given to man and his conceit
Man with time forgot this is not his plan.
Most truly believing in their minds deceit
That all this wealth has been given to man
Ignoring that everyday a species dies
And all we hear are corporate lies.

-----

Nature 1. Respect

Creatures know their place and seek a mate
And with the spring we see new nests appear
Lifelong mates, the old nest they simply clear.
Earthbound mates make holes or homes create
And burrows appear where ever they dictate
But selfish man may destroy it and interfere
Then sadly they must move on unable to cohere
For man is powerful, selfish and inconsiderate.
Forests and fields were once home to most life
And some respected and shared or consoled
Man is a beast no more or less and oft in strife.
In moving on were helped but later controlled.
Death is no stranger to those opposing his will
It was the way of man past and with some still.

-----

Nature 2. Chance

Given any chance we see new life begin
Bird eggs will soon hatch, new avian life
Soon to fly and feed in flocks avoiding strife
Flying, feeding and sharing to all akin.
On the ground sharing and protecting kin
Feeding in herds on pastures without wildlife
Man has financial interest and gains highlife
No thought of beast but only of parts or skin
We think of food inconsiderate of the source
Probably the supplier thinks only of profit
Past creatures were slain without remorse
And the recipient also thought little about it
But now there are laws that protects the beast
On some creatures now is forbidden to feast.

-----

Nature 3. Arachnids

See the humble spider, and look at her spin
Knowing it will have its time then will abate
All creatures live in harmony within their state.
Each morn removing each night spins again
Then nocturnal beauty each night will begin.
Each time a work of art that looks so great
Finding insects and such by movement not bait
Removing web 'fore daylight and birds are seen.
She is prey to avians so she must hide at day
Now becoming the victim but still must sleep
So a balance is created a truly sensible way
Each night she weaves her web I wish to keep
A sheet of purest silk from the house to shed
And before dawn removed whilst I'm still abed.

-----

Nature 4. Harmony

All creatures live in harmony within their state.
When an over population Nature takes control
Then in time a balance is achieved that's her role
Because cycles occur in all life's at a natural rate
And so Nature moves along at a very steady gait
When over prolific a flood or drought culls the toll.
Although cruel, bushfires also have another goal
Here fire is the way for plantlife to re-create.
The original people knew this, followed the way
But Green Peace said that their way was wrong
Theoretical idiots lobbied and were given their day
Being Idealists, not practical sang the incorrect song.
The politicians who listened are equally to blame
But after some bad bushfires play a different game.

-----

Nature 5. Knowing

Knowing it will have its time then will abate
For a season grow then for a season show
Beauty will abound as everyone does know.
Most will be cropped and just treated as freight
All some men are concerned about's the weight.
The kilo, the only major concern and the dough
Companies are bothered how much it will grow
And if it's not enough will just close the gate.
Greed and power now seem to rule the day
Ignoring nature and traditions that man lived by
Some religions ridiculed the natural way
Instead seeking power and wealth, "Sinful the cry".
Places of religion built by blood sweat and tithe
Those refusing to follow suffered the scythe.

-----

Nature 6 - Plants Push Forth

Plants push forth new leaves each spring
And from them flower or seed will emerge
Thus we see an expanse where they converge
Or we may see a host to which they cling.
Then see the bee go about her task on wing
Her buzz speaks of contentment to her splurge
Pollinating plants and nectar rewards her urge
Rewarding us with honey from what she brings.
But some men do not want flowers or grass
Pools and concrete gardens is where they play
Or apartment buildings all high, shining glass
No nature, she has been completely cast away.
Each day less oxygen is created, that we need.
The blame lays firmly on corporate greed.

-----

Nature 7 - Balance

That Nature's balance must be, is everything
Believe all that is needed is common sense
If this isn't practised it'll be a great expense
Think about what not following would bring.
Selfish and stupid politicians always cling
To self serving and very often stupid expense,
Tony Abbot is the epitome of all that's dense.
Democracy read hypocrisy is all he will sing.
A Catholic, read hypocrite is all he can be
There is no charity, no intelligence, only doubt
Conceit in his manner why can't others see.
Promises without knowing, he should be cast out
The Australian attitude is "She'll be right mate"
With Abbot in charge we are less than great.

-----

Nature 8 - Life Wakes Again

In spring life wakes again and begins to procreate,
Each year the same, sometimes better, others want
In time because of needs of placement they're scant
Physical changes or habits for protection or find bait.
Plants are food, animals that feeds on them have to wait
The creatures that eat flesh simply wait near the plant.
Man moves in and digs and builds so that Nature can't
Plants are gone, there's no food so beast numbers abate.
Mans population increases with every single day,
Nature cannot control the acts of the human race.
It increases in size each moment in every way
And in no way that Nature can handle the pace.
At present it's a victory for man in a way he created
In the long run realise Nature cannot be defeated.

-----

Nature 9 - Mans Conceit

All this was given to man and his conceit
And whilst living simply upon the Earth
Was well nourished finding out life's worth
It was a place to live with plenty to eat.
Along came some leaders willing to cheat
No longer living as one within her ways
Their work not worthy or given any praise
And those who knew could never compete.
With ancient ways there was no dearth
But greed came along some wanting more
Capturing Nature's bosom a bountiful berth
And whilst taking them it left others poor.
Free will a deadly sin that was given to man
But Free Will was never part of Nature's plan.

-----

Nature 10 - Forgot

Man with time forgot this is not his plan
In doing so he went his way along his path
Whenever told wrong, it earned his wrath
So history reads tribe, people, country, man.
Religion destroyed the nature loving clan
With rules if not followed caused a bloodbath.
A day created for worship known as Sabbath
On any other way of life there was a ban.
Now a man destroys nature with a machine
Digging into the Earth, destroying all around.
Ignoring farms and man for a financial dream
Responsible authorities dare not make a sound.
Greed and power ignore Nature completely
But when she calls a stop we'll all pay totally.

-----

Nature 11 - Truly Believing

Most truly believing in their minds deceit
Forgot about what they owed to nature
And in time was educated in a new culture
Forests torn up and replaced with concrete.
The tribe outbread creating street after street
Nature was given a new name, agriculture
Trees were chopped down to make furniture
More concrete laid and behold another street.
Fumes from cars and industry climbed skywards
Where they then destroyed the ozone layer
Because of man, more and more went upwards
Now man is a victim as well as the main player.
The Earth grows warmer and Ice packs melt
Be careful of sunshine, what was that you felt?

-----

Nature 12 - Gift to Man

That all this wealth has been given to man
What comes to mind for some is only More
And they create businesses to do that chore
Slaves and others help him live his plan.
Acquisition of wealth is what he began.
Or is it power that he will hunger for
Now today workers live on another shore
Conveniently he's forgotten the game plan.
If a man deceives the people who helped him
Surely that is a truly hideous crime
The only place for him is in the nearest bin
Here he'd be called "A dirtbag or a slime"
The requirements some politicians need
But would ignore because I mentioned SEED.

-----

Nature 13 - A Species Dies

The corporate world is so filled with lies
Outrageous in its claims, immoral in its deeds
Destroying natural life to satisfy all its needs
Some people are waking to their snake eyes.
Poisoned lakes and rivers all cancers apprise
Proper treatment will affect the proceeds
And so they leave behind the deadly seeds
Very soon we'll hear another widows cries.
Now the barrier reef may become a victim
And coal mining companies dump their shit.
Regardless of nature and truth that is verbatim
The death of coral and life they will not admit.
The corporate world is so filled with lies
In ignoring that everyday a species dies.

-----

Nature 14 - Corporate Lies

The world from space looks lush and green
Look what man's done in the name of gain
And it shows civilization has gone insane
Down below the destruction is obscene.
Companies make promises that they don’t
They're destroying forests to build new towns
Whilst acting like a bunch of circus clowns
And the vehicles most drive are far from clean.
With medias permission we carry on without care
Ignorant that soon we will be asked to pay
Wise people watch what they spend or dare
But faced with the truth what will we say?
Would it be right to arrange a compromise
Knowing that all we'll hear are corporate lies.

-----

Nature - Finale

But what of hidden places that are dim and dark
Only occasionally will they see the light of day?
Have they a lesser right to have their say?
Are they any less of Nature than a wildlife park?
Man in his arrogance changes the original mark
They always come back when he turns away.
In spite of mans work Nature has her sway
She is returns from where she would embark.
What of the creatures that thrive in this domain
Creepy crawlies that feed on mans refuse
Even for them Nature has an important use
Even the little beasts that are part of the chain.
Soon there will be a time when Nature wins
Remember the humble spider and the web she spins.

An Unlikely Excuse

I felt in my heart I shall not a poet be
Though tried hard not to be distracted
Rhymes composed were over reacted
Though within the past I could not see
It was part of a past dream within me
That had easily become self extracted
But failure of rhyme was not accepted
So I shall be one more failed absentee
That had fallen once more down to earth
Past times may not revert to the future
Tho' I did my best for what it was worth
Yet I cast the blame upon my computer
No computer shall ever compose words
To put the blame on I would be absurd.

-----

Deja Vu of Spring

I long to breathe the freshness of spring
After the long cold winter season is over
Buttercups, daisies enfringed with clover
As migrating birds return upon the wing
It shall be this that makes the muse sing
As warmth of spring may be much closer
Within the suns rays of natures exposure
Every quarter mother nature may bring.
It may be then that love shall ever flourish
Of cherished dreams that shall come true
That shall only take two hearts to nourish
Spring shall offer all a feeling of deja vu
As it has flourished many times before
And shall forever be within future lore.

-----

Final Hour

Thou shall bid farewell to thy maiden
For death shall cast no sacred bower
Within thy bounteous fading flower
Thy kiss goodbye is never forbidden
Upon autumns leaf of red and golden
Lay within caskets for earth to devour
Shall this not be so upon her final hour
Within depths of earth down trodden
No love or embrace shall be returned
Within the depth of a cold dark tomb
'Twas nought within life that mourned
Nor within dephs of an earthen womb
Yet her spirit arises once more to prove
Far beyond the grave to abide by love.

-----

First Impressions

People are not what they seem to be
Tho' they appear very smart in attire
Yet first impressions may later expire
An eye opener to what we really see
Yet within our thoughts remain free
There shall be no flame without a fire
I only knew what I thought as prior
Of a naughty trick once played on me
Back then I was to be so vulnerable
I believed mostly all I perceived
So naive and yet never untolerable
For my instincts I forever believed
But the time ahead shall ever foretell
For within my heart I had meant well.

-----

Flames Of Satan

Dark are the spells of a Satanic evil
Bleak night of the darkened shadow
Where evil spells may forever show
Demonic screams of a tortured will
Black disillusion of the devils thrill
That procures a distinctive evil flow
Thus may arise as hot flames below
Deep within a demonic spell to kill
Within depths of a darkened night
Love may lure an unsuspected mind
When love is blind there is no sight
The devil to show is for you to find
'Tis for thee to know time shall tell
The only way out is heaven or hell.

-----

Forever Loved

We saw the light that shone from above
And felt the warmth of our passion flow
We did not seek dark shadows to grow
For all the warmth was from true love
When our love was sadly deprived of
But eyes shall once more brightly glow
It may only take both lovers that know
Of a desirous warmth within thereof
Past times may be gone and forgotten
But warmth of love shall bloom again
Like it did away back within autumn
When the light shine's on loves domain
There shall be no grievance or sorrow
Where a warmth of passion may grow.

-----

Heat of the Moment

By candle light I saw a shadow of you
Soft was the glow that melted within
Enhanced with warmth upon my skin
I shall truly submit whatever you do
But only if the flames may burn true
For I shalt never be a partner to sin
That may be all over before we begin
When candles have melted all askew
Shall this be a warning this kiss of fire
Hot the glow deep within your eyes
I could but contain the heat of desire
But only within love I may improvise
It started a candle lit shadow of you
How may I not submit to what we do.

Tarot - The Lovers

-----

Hypatia Philosopher

What shall a philosopher see in her stone
May her crystal image show future times
Or of the futures gone within past climes
Only within past may future be known
For in time and space all shall be shown
When past pendulums of science chimes
As temperature rises and upwards climbs
Changing the rugged plains so overthrown
That only a philosopher may truly decipher
What makes planet Earth spin with gravity
And life within which time shall e'er inter
Shall it be in the stone's futuristic clarity
Only within time may tell what shall be
Whatever a philosophers stone may see.

-----

Innocent Charm

She tortures senses with innocent charm
Though within she appears as demure
But her gaze is long from eyes so pure
How may she as innocent do such harm
With her inward passion of natural balm
An Elvin temptress bearing natures cure
Within her mystical potions victims lure
Yet she shall remain as alluringly calm
Her power relies upon sensual emotions
Like the spider that wove her sacred trap
No good may come of balms or of lotions
For ignorance shall cause a grave mishap
Her presence is there finally to appease
Within her forest midst whispering trees.

-----

May He Ne-er Be Forgotten

If we ever had just one half of a chance
That Victorian visions of love may thrive
When Wordsworths art of words did give
Shall it be within past times of romance
Within this grandeur of rhythmic dance
Such in many years forth shall remain alive
whilst futuristic poets shall for ever strive
Yet he portray's forth upon a poetic stance
His times of past shall never be forgotten
Through his ingenious words spoken forth
Of winter, spring, of summer and autumn
He bore the past joys with all of his worth
That his off springs now shall ever foresee
'Tis of Wordsworths time I may rather be.

William Wordsworth by Henry William Pickersgill

-----

Only Time

Only time may tell what fate shall await me
I who have been born to this natural world
Shared every moment when life unfurled
When natures presence finally broke free
I shared the wonders that was ever to be
From the depth of a winters blanket curled
Upon meadows green as fronds uncurled
Only time shall tell of future who may see
What shall happen in future years to come
Shall it all be the same as it was back then
Or may we all within future times succumb
If what we know may not be the same again
It is for us to find and mother nature to know
Soon only within time itself fate shall show.

-----

Silent Dreams

When this day is long and night is short
What shall happen to forgotten dreams
May it be that sleep is not what it seems
An that reality might be the final resort
When snoring shall revert to a final snort
Shade's of clouds hide the moon beams
Yet darkness escapes as dawn redeems
May it be then those dreams shall abhort
For dawns awakening see`s all things clear
Then sleep shall surely awaken to reality
Refreshing dreams of what we have here
If dreams are only figments of depravity
Then let it appear within a lovers cries
That mirrors wantingly twixt loving eyes.

-----

Softly Spoken

Shall it be but a whisper softly spoken
Or a touch of the hand that lingers so
That trembles within this sensual flow
May this be a part of a lovers token
When desire deeper within has awoken
That may forever remain for eyes to show
Or shall it only take both lovers that know
A divinity of love may not be broken
Warmth of affection that touches much
Even if love shall be mistaken for lust
It may be revealed with just one touch
Those feelings within shall build a trust
As the warmth blessed both lovers eyes
Love shown in lovers eyes speak no lies.

-----

Songs Of Silence

Listen can you hear the sound of silence
Where all around is peaceful and serene
Calmer waters where galleons have been
Within battles of yester years defense
The spoils of battles offer no pretence
When all that may remain are unforeseen
Except of land ahead that blossoms green
To fight the good fight shall make no sense
For nature shall not ever obey to a man
If a man should leave what is well alone
As most women have done since time began
The ocean shall support no stepping stones
I sit here pondering just how it would be
If only man was as tranquil as the sea.

Song of Silence - Cacina

-----

Winds of Change

Winds of great change shall be upon our land
There shall be no corn nor even of buffalo
Not a thing on this land shall of nurture grow
The future claims from the white mans hand
Shall be nothing left for the tribal band
Waters from springs shall not ever again flow
Times shall return when the great winds blow
All of earths nutrients shall be in demand
When prayers may be answered one by one
Upon the purest wisdom of a natives prayer
Let none cast asunder their sacrificial sun
When trees bear fruits from the solar layer
Their future blessed for all within range.
Let not this future be prone unto change.

Awareness

I offer this meditation to thee
My highest Self, I'm silent and aware;
My inner temple open, I prepare
myself for thee; knowing thou, makes me free.
Free of guilt and burdens I'm meant to be,
My heart rejoices as I trust your care
Is always with me when my soul is bare;
In offering my contemplative plea
You are within myself, I live in You.
Your presence permeates each breath I take,
Your light will strengthen me and hold me true
When I am one with you, I'm free of ache.
In meditation I can feel you close,
My mind grows wide and silent as thought slows.

-----

Contemplation II

You have become a presence in my mind
One I can call upon to bare my soul
In meditation You are near, my goal
I know you close, inside my heart enshrined.
I contemplate your name, myself combined
Within your ever present Self, I’m whole -
I'm drawn to you, as magnets to a pole.
I offer you this time with hands entwined,
In following my breath, I rest between -
You are the silent witness to its flow.
Connected with each rise and fall unseen
I recognize your presence with a bow.
I've built a sacred place where I can hear,
Where I can be with you, where You are near.

Borobudur2009 - Leny

The dance of life

The dance of life is marked by seasons' flow
Spring covers our childhood till we mature
We are unfolding and grow in allure,
Developing talents Nature bestowed.
Our summer's the stage for loving and woe
Confrontations with death we now endure
Losing loved ones through illness without cure.
When our children are born, we're all aglow,
Our life is a feast, each new day a gift
We share and create, while energy soars.
In autumn pace changes as accents shift,
We're collecting memories from life’s tours.
Winter turns us inwards, we reminisce
The events of our life, sorrow and bliss.

-----

Dedication

I sit and dedicate this hour to thee;
In solitude I listen, hear your voice,
It offers solace to my soul, a choice
To follow you within this world, I'm free-
Attuned, because your light is guiding me.
Mozart's music sings your praise, choirs of boys'
clear voices soar still higher, all rejoice-
Inside, I feel how heart and mind agree.
To you I dedicate this time of peace,
Invite you in my inner room to stay;
With you I know my soul will find release,
I am relieved of burdens as I pray.
Each breath is followed by a pause, I rest
Therein, till new air fills my lungs and chest.

-----

Dusk

Dusk wraps herself in multi-coloured veils
Of evening blue set off with bands of pink,
She's going to a midnight ball, I think,
Her skirts are moving with the wind, like sails.
She dominates night's sky with her regales
Around her shoulders she drapes cloudy mink;
When Sun withdraws, Dusk disappears – eyes blink.
Dark velvet curtains hide the stage, Moon pales,
Yet, if I close my eyes, I see Dusk face,
Her lovely dress of lustrous pink and blue;
I see her move across night's sky with grace,
She took day's light away and left on cue.
Tomorrow she'll return to crown the sky,
In awe I will look up, watch her pass by.

-----

Of Cats and Birds

This morning a blackbird visited me,
Attracted by crumbles of apple-pie
I'd just put out and she spied from the sky;
Spring's messengers building nests in my tree.
Green sprouts of crocus and tulip break free
From winter's black hold to meet magpie's cry.
On its warning 'Cat in sight!'- birds all fly,
Not knowing she's old, no reason to flee.
Our Tessa likes a cold drink from the pond,
The taste of water is improved by plants
She apparently thinks, goes far beyond
What comes from the tap, not spiced up by ants
And decaying leaves; she ambles around
Our quiet garden, where peace is profound.

-----

Peace Within

In preparation of my time with you
I put my body straight, my hands at rest;
Both feet upon the ground, I know I'm blessed,
in concentration silence can come through
My heart is listening, feels peace accrue
As air flows in and out, inside my chest -
I welcome you within, most hallowed guest.
You are the One in whom my self is true.
I meditate upon your name, observe
My inner voice repeating on each breath;
Awareness deepens as the words preserve.
In this living silence there is no death,
Here reigns a golden light, a fragrance pure
As solitude fulfils me, I'm secure.

-----

Rembrandt

I wonder how long my hands will stay deft
To paint the portraits waiting within me-
Lucretia raped, who desperately
Took her own life, seeing no future left.
Europa, seduced and looking bereft
when Zeus, disguised as bull, refused her plea
but took her with him, not leaving her free.
Her friends, alarmed, could not prevent this theft.
My mirror tells me I'm growing older,
I have much more to paint, cannot loose time;
My hand is still strong, brush strokes get bolder,
See Jan van Six, my benefactor sublime.
Titus will pose as a Franciscan monk,
Myself I'll paint a soldier, slightly drunk.

Love Conquer's All

To be alone within a crowd yet not quite
There is some things that cause an impact
Strange it may seem yet matter of fact
Shall all be within the eyes of insight
Speaks fathoms when the time is right
Within eye to eye shall forever contact
Mystical feelings shall remain as intact
Within powers that no one shall blight
'Tis the look that may lure loves instinct
So much so that they shall never resist
When both lovers are ever to be linked
Such ecstasy when both eyes had kissed
For within the eyes love may conquer all
To see the signs and listen to them call.

-----

Vostri Occhi

What do I see when I look into your eyes?
My future spent forever looking into them
And nothing on Earth could e'r condemn.
There is never any need for me to disguise.
There's no crime in relishing a lovers sighs
That I love thee, and are forever my gem
Our love like flags create its own anthem
Or need to whisper that you are my prize.
Instead I should shout out to the world
In loudest voice my desire and love of thee
And hold it plain for all the world to see
With thy compliance souls will be unfurled
Your look holds me steady as we climb
In sure knowledge it will be for all time.
