In Time

I meet my love
When fate decrees to be sublime
I meet my love
Knowing that in the stars above
We meet and share and you are mine
Somewhere in the deep mists of time
I meet my love

Dancing Lessons

Life teaches us
Dance steps that are most intricate;
Life teaches us,
And if we listen, without fuss
We learn how to negotiate
Sharp dips and turns, a figure eight.
Life teaches us.

-----

Ever Learning.

We live and learn,
Even the ones who know it all.
We live and learn,
And sometimes how those lessons burn
Our psyches; but though we may fall,
We pick ourselves up slowly, crawl.
We live and learn.

-----

I Prayed Today.

I prayed today
For the gift of true acceptance.
I prayed today.
When things do not turn out my way
I will not do a hissy dance
Rebel or offer resistance,
I prayed today.

-----

It All Depends

It's not too late
To find love in September's glow.
It's not too late,
To discover your spirit's mate.
Two souls who feel they want to grow
Old together, then you must know
It's not too late.

It is too late
If other lives will be destroyed ,
It is too late.
There are some things we can't debate,
And though the dream's one we've enjoyed,
Whose passing leaves us with a void.
It is too late.

-----

My Friend

You were my friend,
At least that's how I looked at you.
You were my friend
Although you drove me round the bend,
That's why it's hard to say 'adieu';
But some things we just have to do.
You were my friend.

-----

Ongoing Presence

I turn around
Because I feel you close to me.
I turn around
And even though you make no sound
I hear your voice internally;
I feel my heart race, so quickly
I turn around

-----

Unforgettable

I loved him so,
And when he died it broke my heart.
I loved him so,.
Could not believe he had to go.
I feared that I would fall apart,
Afraid to think of a new start,
I loved him so.

He loved me too,
He proved it in so many ways.
He loved me too
So many things he used to do;
That's why his memory still stays
With me. This was no passing phase.
He loved me too.

A Stars Life

Many a star
Has come and gone from blackest space
Many a star
Has to fall from grace very far
Before it finds its wings of lace
And drops hiding hands from its face
Many a star

-----

Fears

Fears wake in dreams
Where grey things pass into abyss
Fears wake in dreams
Become reality it seems
Horrors cause no hope nor bliss
Sleep is the enemy not missed
Fears wake in dreams.

-----

Heavenly Question

Blue moon, mauve sky
I seek the colors of his soul
Blue moon, mauve sky
Do you hold the brush high
Or let it fall from hands control
No ache to relieve or console
Blue moon, mauve sky

-----

If I Can't Dance

If I can't dance
You'll know my day has come to die
If I can't dance
Like a leaf in a breeze by chance
Chances come only once, so I
No longer can spin turns nor fly
If I can't dance

-----

If I Can't Fly

If I can't fly
You know I'll die on highways
If I can't fly
Like a rainbow I'll go away
Clouds above, feet stuck in clay,
The earth binding wings like Mondays
If I can't fly

-----

Summers Lost

Green the blues
In the summertime where love lost the beat
Green the blues
Of a cloudless sky not free to choose
When it will rain upon loves defeat
Some summer in the verdant heat
Green the blues.

-----

Whisked Away

Woods are evergreen
At the Spring of love so tender pale
Woods are evergreen
In the Autumn's reddened scenes
Whisked away on decay scented gales
The apple blossoms give sway to veiled
Woods so evergreen

Apparition

I saw a ghost
Last night was not just in dreams
I saw a ghost;
Lights flashed in front of my host
Revealed a pallid face to extreme
Sadly in death an image redeems
I saw a ghost.

I saw a ghost
That walked the path of the dead
I saw a ghost;
Within spirit form of nethermost
Who had risen from an earthy bed
Once more on silent steps retread
I saw a ghost.

-----

Apple Cider

Apple cider liquor
Midst a Somerset orchard farm
Apple cider liquor;
For the townsmen and city slicker
Addicted to a country ritual charm
Indulgance drives them mad or calm
Apple cider liquor.

Apple cider liquor
Having picked them from the best
Apple cider liquor;
Stored in baskets made of wicker
But this drinkers not like the rest
Her childrens safely in their nest
Apple cider liquor.

-----

Creature of Habbit

Creatures of habit
They are mapped out to be just
Creatures of habit;
So freely their brain shall commit
Every day they do as they must
It is never easy to try and adjust
Creatures of habit.

Creatures of habit
In need of change are strange
Creatures of habit;
But what of dirt, what of the grit
Cannot leave it all disarranged
Its not in their mind to exchange
Creatures of habit.

-----

Eternity

I gave to you
All the love that was in my heart
I gave to you;
It was then that our feelings grew
We both fell in love from the start
Not even within death could we part
Where we left off we started anew
I gave to you.

You give to me
The deepest love that I ever knew
You give to me;
And still we love within spirit form
When our destiny arose from a storm
Eternal love that still remains warm
You give to me.

-----

Just a Cutie

They think I`m cute
The cutest that a pup can be
They think I`m cute;
Affectionate yes.but never a brute
I need warmth and hugs you see
Cuddly teddy they gave to me
They think I`m cute.

They think I`m cute
Pampered I intend to be
They think I`m cute;
I shall have them dance to my flute
It will be I thats boss wait and see
When I pee on their favourite tree
They think I`m cute ?.

-----

Labyrinth

Lost in a maze
And I am so much on my own
Lost in a maze;
No matter where I assert my gaze
There is no true insructions shown
My sense of direction has flown
Lost in Maze.

Lost in a maze
A labyrinth of pathways unknown
Lost in a maze;
Never shall I venture the final phase
Looks like, I am unbelievably prone
I cant find my blasted cell phone
Lost in a maze.

-----

Lost But Found

I have lost love
Within the very depth of my heart
I have lost love,
love divine like the stars above
Heavenly angels should never part
Had to end before it doth start
I have lost love.

I have found love
So clear within his sky blue eyes
I have found love,
Yearning towards romance thereof
Visions of passion, sensual cries
Within his arms I now realise
I have found love.

-----

Nature's Anger

An end to time
Destruction to all thats existed
An end to time
Tumbled down from an upward climb
Earthquakes and storms then inflicted
Volcanos and floods were predicted
An end to time.

An end to time
Hurricanes from heaven prevailed
An end to time
Earths beauty no longer to rhyme
As protections of nature failed
With the last breath of air exhailed
An end to time.

-----

Of Nature's Toys

Of natures toys
I felt the breeze play with the leaves
Of natures toys;
Dewdrop berries my gems of joy
Cowslips mellow dance twixt sheaves
A treasure chest wonders achieve
Of natures toys.

Her silken web
I watched amazed the spider weave
Her silken web;
An Immaculate precisional celeb
Her woven trap of lace to retrieve
Wonders to be seen to believe.
Her silken web.

Upon woodland floors
I saw the faerie`s and druids play
Upon woodland floors;
Between musky fungus clad spores
An imaginative mind gave them away
In my dream they bade me to stay
Upon woodland floors.

-----

Rain Drops And Tears

When rain drops flow
Tears gently fall from lovers eyes
When rain drops flow;
So dark the shadowed feelings grow
From faded hearts as true love dies
All thats left are clouds in the skies
When rain drops flow.

When rain drops flow
Sadness enshrouds a broken heart
When rain drops flow
With nothing left within to show
But grief and sorrow of being apart
Was never theirs to have from the start
When rain drops flow.

-----

Satin Sunsets

Of satin sunsets
Softly warm upon a summer sky
Of satin sunsets;
Thou shalt bring forth a rainbow yet
As dew drops fall thro` beams on high
Mystical moments of hues pass by
Of satin sunsets.

Of satin sunsets
Wild flowers golden petals sigh
Of satin sunsets;
Silken moods as good as it gets
Before the morning dew drops cry
Natures treasures shalt never deny
Of satin sunsets.

-----

Shark Attack

You are not safe
From the jaws of a great white shark
You are not safe;
To play with dangers are unsafe
Swimming in the ocean when dark
Skinny dipping just for a lark
You are not safe.

You are not safe
From these predators of the sea
You are not safe;
He spots you as a spineless waif
Trespassing within sights of he
Never his nature to let you free
You are not safe.

-----

Unity of Love

We shall meet again
Some day soon in a different place
We shall meet again
For this love we cannot contain
When I see that look upon your face
My inner self shall fall from grace
We shall meet again.

We shall meet again
Some time within a far off shore
We shall meet again
To part so soon shall bring much pain
But love in turn shall heal once more
Forever explore like once before
We shall meet again.

-----

Yakkety Yak

He hears my voice
For I talk much more than he
He hears my voice,
And I know that he has no choice
He cannot get a word in you see
And might as well talk to a tree
He hears my voice.

I hear him sigh
Within desperate exasperation
I hear him sigh
I could never be quiet if i try
For chatting is good conversation
To fantasize a peaceful relation
I hear him sigh.

Good Things Come Slow

Good things come slow
Beautiful sunsets, brides that blush
Good things come slow
Old feelings arrive, late but show
No need to worry or to rush
Fragile, packaged dreams do not crush
Good things come slow

A Poets Dream

The words of love
They echo from a poetís dream
The words of love
Are the divine call from above
That babbles in a forest stream
Destiny found in lunar beam
The words of love

Moments of joy
When a heart accepts all that is
Moments of joy
When eyes linger, a little coy
Caught in a loverís gentle kiss
Before yielding to sensual bliss
Moments of joy

-----

Divine Love

A special place
Where thoughts echo tomorrowís dreams
A special place
Reflecting time at slower pace
In stillness found in moonlight beams
A heart embraces self- esteem
A special place

To draw her in
Inhale; inspire the freshest air
To draw her in
For a moment, hold her within
Her love divine is always there
With each new breath to feel her care
And draw her in

On silent pond
A distant memory in trance
On silent pond
The space of dreams, all things beyond
Revealed within the spiral dance
If dreams should dare to take the chance
On silent pond

-----

The Empty Room

They fell in love
And walked towards the setting sun
They fell in love
To freely share desire thereof
But love was doomed theyíd neíer be one
Such cursed hearts cannot be undone
They fell in love

With words of spite
That echo through the empty room
With words of spite
That caused lovers to fall and fight
And stale odours shadowed their gloom
And love lies cold as in a tomb
With words of spite

Love fades away
And leaves behind a bitter taste
Love fades away
No feelings linger here to stay
Destroying souls that once were chaste
Their time as one was just a waste
Love fades away

-----

Finding Potential

Contented sleep
Entwined and wrapped in downy white
Contented sleep
Relaxing eyes no longer weep
Old fears rejected to the night
A twitching smile in dreams delight
Contented sleep

At breaking dawn
The chorus sings to greet the day
At breaking dawn
Potential seen within new morn
And coffee steams as if to say
Itís time to brush cobwebs away
At breaking dawn

-----

Nothing Mattered

I feared their roar
Of anger fuelled by their disgust
I feared the roar
And left my dreams to nothing more
Concealing self in flecks of dust
Sweet softness lost beneath stale crust
I feared their roar.

I saw her smile
The lines of life that she has seen
I saw her smile
And nothing mattered for a while
Her granny smile, whateverís been
She doesnít care what words could mean
I saw her smile.

Her love is mine
No matter what I say or do
Her love is mine
When tears cascade, she makes it fine
And holds my heart to whatís true
To see me smile with loving you,
Her love is mine.

-----

Roasties Crunch

A Sunday lunch
While catching up with all theyíve done
A Sunday lunch
The laughter shared as roasties crunch
Recalling days when they were young
While dining alone; meal for one
A Sunday lunch.

-----

Silently Still

A pause in time
The world is still, silently still
A pause in time
I heard a breath, like a bell, chime
A moment paused upon the hill
To see the world, itís standing still
A pause in time

I Should Have Known

I didnít know
How much you meant to me
I didnít know
That I would miss you so
Until you chose to go
I didnít know

I chose to go
It seemed to me you did not care
I chose to go
I could no longer stay anywhere
Where you might be; too hard to bear.
I chose to go.

You had your chance
But decided to ignore me.
You had your chance
But missed your opportunity
You showed no interest in me.
You had your chance.

Should I regret
Deciding that I must move on
Should I regret?
Making this decision
I can accept the past is gone
Should I regret.

I do not know
The only thing of which Iím sure.
I do not know
Is it possible to measure?
What to discard and what to treasure
I do not know.

Perhaps you knew.
That it was nothing but a dream
Perhaps you knew
Things are rarely what they seem
Chose to protect my self esteem.
Perhaps you knew.

Dreams can come true
but sad to say infrequently
Dreams can come true
For those who think positively
It is a possibility
Dreams can come true.

I wonít forget
How unkind you seemed to be
I wonít forget
Your indifference to me
But I was wrong apparently
I wonít forget.

I will never know.
If you ever felt some regret
I will never know
If my going made you upset.
and gave you reason to regret
I will never know.

I made my choice
Which has proved to be correct
I made my choice
I know that I cannot expect
anything but to accept
I made my choice.

Another Day

Another day
Watching peace filled moments maybe?
Another day
To celebrate memoirs held at bay
Rejoicing treasured worth of thee
penned by blood from war days at sea
Another day

Another day
Slips way, splashing sad tears set free
Another day
Searching times of war bombs defray
Tossed, scattered human parts bloody
To read, red stained pages degree
Another day

Another day
To be blest you gave; whys I see
Another day
Another loving thought to stay
privileged pages cruelty
Reading Moms love sent preciously
Another day.

The Angels Laugh

The Angels laugh
At the same time flicking their ash.
The Angels laugh
Palms raised by Heavenly staff
As humans do all that is rash
Thinking the only God is cash
The Angels laugh

The rich man rides
In the back of his limousine
The rich man rides
With a fancy tart by his side
But she knows now what is his scene
Heís still a pig, her soulís still clean
The rich man rides

The poor man drives
Taking rich men where they can sin
The poor man drives
Wondering how their souls survive.
Sons of Mammon to their chagrin
Gather daily with all their kin
The poor man drives.

Dancing Blossoms

Dancing blossoms
And falling blooms cover the road
Dancing blossoms
Sights of early spring are awesome
The trees outside my house explode
In every colour nature bestowed
Dancing blossoms.

Static blossoms
From falling blooms cover my car
Static blossoms
As well as bird poo and tree gum
One day Iíll learn not to park my car
Where trees, and birds, and blossoms are
Static blossoms.

I Feel Your Force

I feel your force
And know that I am not alone
I feel your force
Feeling the old has run its course
Pleased now with how we have grown
Far different from what weíve known
I feel your force

I feel your force
A fire burning deep from within
I feel your force
Swelling as our lives take their course
With each birth see love re-begin
Time after time to our chagrin
I feel your force

I feel your force
How long have you been my lover
I feel your force
Knowing fate has chosen this course
Trace my finger's gently over
And feel the person I long for
I feel your force.

I Wanted You

I wanted you
You looked then walked away
I wanted you
There was nothing that I could do
Your look said this isnít your day
What can I do to make you stay
I wanted you.

You donít want me
I finally realised the truth
You donít want me
Thisís no longer the place to be
I do not need to be a sleuth
One more drink, another Vermouth
You donít want me.

Nights Orchestra

Nights orchestra
The melodies of lovers sighing
Nights orchestra
Winds beating a nocturnal mantra
As loving deeds send them flying
Carrying on as night is dying
Nights orchestra.

A dream sonata

With Love creating its own mantra
Love and mood changing throughout the night
Bodies moving in a heavenly flight
A dream sonata.

-----

With Loves Demise

With loveís demise
There is some pain and times of tears.
With loveís demise
You become free, the end of lies
And all becomes as it appears
Then you will find someone who cares
With loveís demise.

With loveís demise.
The moon and stars mean different things
With loveís demise.
Dawn and dusk take on a different guise
You walk around on clipped wings
And no longer hear a heart that sings
With loveís demise.

With loveís demise.
You no longer share favourite tunes
With loveís demise.
Drivingís a task without a prize
There is only morning and afternoons
No nights snuggling, watching cartoons
With loveís demise.

-----

With Winters End

With winters end
All life renews and starts again
With winters end
No time to rest, no aches to mend
New life begins the old is slain
And all thatís new begins to reign.
With winters end

With winters end
Listen to the birds as they sing
With winters end
Courtship songs we hear them send
Modern song requires higher pitch
Not so attractive to the birds bitch
With winters end

A losing race

A losing race

As Angels Weep

As angels weep
their tears are caught in sky-ships' holds.
As angels weep,
Aeolus herds the ships like sheep,
his breath unlocks the flock, unfolds
the dancing sails, freed from tight molds,
as angels weep.

-----

As lightning strikes

As lightning strikes
its fiery forks lick skin, ignites,
as lighning strikes.
As voltage raises higher spikes
my body is an arch of light,
it radiates into the night-
as lightning strikes.

-----

Behind Closed Doors

Behind closed doors
we cry our tears in touches missed.
Behind closed doors,
where once our blood and passion soared
as hungry hands searched, bodies kissed,
sweet love was recklessly dismissed-
behind closed doors.

-----

I celebrate

I celebrate
my love for you, in every phase
I celebrate.
If passion flowers in soul-mates,
soft glowing embers spring ablaze;
when love shines from your eyes in praise-
I celebrate.

-----

I close my eyes

I close my eyes
and feel your heel against my shin,
I close my eyes;
my body curves into your thighs-
our blending skin brings harmony within.
Your arm feels warm against my chin,
I close my eyes.

-----

I hear your call

I hear your call.
Across wide seas and continents
I hear your call.
Soft whispered words keep me enthralled
as heart-strings echo your laments;
we'll build a bridge to still torments-
I hear your call.

-----

I'm breaking down

I cry inside;
because I feel I've let you down,
I cry inside.
Behind high walls I fled to hide
my tears, I laughed and played the clown-
the world would not accept my frown;
I cry inside.

I'm breaking down
the self-protecting walls I raised.
I'm breaking down,
to dare new roads beyond this town
that kept me in a shackled state;
I'll hold my head high, shut the gate
I'm breaking down.

-----

Meditation

I turn within-
When silence reigns inside my heart,
I turn within.
I feel the breeze caress my skin
as in me chants of mantra start;
I hear them blossom, then depart-
I turn within.

I turn within.
Each repetition I behold,
I turn within
as slowly barriers grow thin;
my thornless rose gently unfolds,
her inner light a shimmering gold-
I turn within.

-----

Migration's Dance

Against grey skies
my sky-ships stately dance and flow
against grey skies.
As flocks of birds cry out, arise
in playful dip and turning show,
dark shadows of cold winter grow
against grey skies.

Migration's dance
is in birds' blood, can't be denied,
migration's dance.
They're bound to follow, take their chance
and cross both sea and land in glide
to winter's pastures that provide-
migration's dance.

Our Dice Are Cast

and cherish purple autumn hues.
Our dice are cast.

US Open

Game, set and match.
A love game, followed by a deuce-
Game, set and match.
As players run and try to catch
each well placed ball, there is no truce;
they do their utmost to produce
game, set and match.

On every smash
spectators rise, recite their names.
On every smash
they watch each serve, then dive and dash;
unbeaten, only one remains-
his name and face is put in frames:
on every smash.
